Are You Happy?

Hello again, I think today is a day of reflection for all of us. The energy is set in a way that allows for peaceful reflection. I've gone over and over things from the past with pain coming up but not today. We spend our lives in shackles by a world that believes that cages are suitable. Listen to me clearly, there are somethings that can't be swept under the rug. Today's question: are you happy?

I've spent what feels like a lifetime trying to understand moments that I'll never get again. I have used "what if" as a foundation to my thought process only to cause self inflicted wounds but not today. People are hurting and the pain is spiritual. People are searching for a savior, a friend, a redeemer, a counselor, and they don't even realize that He is here. Are you happy? Search the contents of your heart...does it contain hurt? Do you see fear? Do you see regrets? Do you that person that hurt you? Do you see the mistakes of your past? If so the "happiness" you have is a facade for the true happiness that God is trying to give you.

I know it's scary...I know how hard it is to face the reality that you are not okay but guess what? It's okay not to be okay. These issues, these emotions, they will continue to hit you until you look at them and say, "okay". See it isn't about face them to defeat them, it's about facing them to accept them. Accept that he cheated on you honey. Accept that your dad was never there brother. Accept that she left you for someone else man. Accept that he raped and didn't even care that it was your first time. Accept that you were betrayed. Accept that your trust was broken. Repeat after me when your emotions try to take you out.

"God I accept these emotions for what they are. I understand that in order to receive Your peace I have to accept my war. Show me Your face and take my hand. I am willing to break through to receive my breakthrough."

Beautiful ones, I can't promise you that this process won't hurt. I can't promise you that you won't cry and I can't promise you that this will be easy but I can promise is that God is with you. What I can say is that at the end of this process when I ask you, "Are you happy?", you'll smile and say, "No, but soon I will be." I love you all.

Be encouraged, keep your head up, and know that you're loved. We are citizens of the Free World, a world without shame, a world without fear, a world where being who you truly are is accepted.
